Hong Kong polytechnic College will get HK$100 million donation from engineer Otto poon for clever city and sustainable power investigation

Major engineer Otto poon Lok-to has donated HK$100 million (US$12.8 million) to Hong Kong polytechnic College for wise city and sustainable electrical power analysis, the establishment announced on Monday night.
The present, built under the Otto poon Charitable Basis, could be the largest individual donation to polyU within the previous ten years.
Occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays are perfect occasions to send corporate gifts along with Hong Kong national holidays and even selected religious occasions.
poon, who's in his late 70s and married to Secretary for Justice Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah, informed the Article he was happy to own the possibility to lead to his alma mater.
“polyU includes a great foundation in smart city and renewable energy study,” he said.

The cash might be accustomed to guidance exploration in these places and for the establishment of two analysis institutes – named in poon’s honour – and two professorships.

polyu research teams achieved breakthrough and world changing discoveries in various fields, contributing to society and global sustainable development.
